Children's Care Qualifications
Level 3 NVQ in Children's Care, Learning and Development
To achieve this award you need to complete nine units, five of which are mandatory:
•Develop and promote positive relationships
•Develop and maintain a healthy, safe and secure environment for children
•Promote children's development
•Reflect on and develop practice
•Protect and promote children's rights
You then need to complete four optional units (from a choice of 41) that best match your work role. This range of
options covers a wide range of work roles, including working with families to enhance children and young people's education, safeguarding children from harm and mentoring colleagues in the workplace.
A certificate from the awarding body will be presented to candidates on completion of their award.
Support to achieve this qualification includes registration, assessment and certification costs.

Carefully planned support sessions with learners ensure the best use of everybody’s time. When undertaking an NVQ qualification, we will ensure you receive support sessions in order to build your portfolio of evidence.
Our assessor team will endeavour to support learners every 3 weeks. Whenever you are learning, the team at NVQ Training & Consultancy are available by telephone, with online support for learners throughout the programme.
Progress updates are provided for managers after every assessment.
