Health & Social Care NVQ Awards

NVQ and SVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care (Adults) &
NVQ and SVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care (Children and Young People)

There are two endorsed titles at level 3. All candidates select the three mandatory units and then select one further mandatory unit depending on whether they work in an adult or children and young peoples' setting. Candidates then have a free choice of four optional units. These can be drawn from either the children and young people or adult's groups and can include selection(s) from a generic option group.

Mandatory Units - Candidates must complete all three

  • Promote effective communication for and about individuals.
  • Promote, monitor and maintain health, safety and security in the working environment.
  • Reflect on and develop your practice.

Two qualification routes. Candidates select one route:

Children and Young People

  • Promote the well being and protection of all children and young people

Adults

  • Promote choice, well-being and the protection of all individuals

In addition, candidates select an additional four units from a total choice of 105. These can be drawn from either the children and young people or adult's groups and can include selections(s) from a generic option group.

A certificate from the awarding body will be presented to candidates on completion of their award.

Support to achieve this qualification includes registration, assessment and certification costs.

Carefully planned support sessions with learners ensure the best use of everybody's time.When undertaking an NVQ qualification, we will ensure you receive support sessions in order to build your portfolio of evidence.

Our assessor team will endeavour to support learners every 3 weeks. Whenever you are learning, the team at NVQ Training & Consultancy are available by telephone, with online support service for learners throughout the programme.

Progress updatesare provided for managers after every assessment.

Once on programme, it is paramount to our Quality & Customer Service Charter that we review the learning being undertaken to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction and progression towards the achievement of awards. We strive to evaluate the benefits from any training undertaken, and this is achieved through regular client reviews.
