Health & Social Care NVQ Awards

NVQ and SVQ Level 4 Health and Social Care (Adults)

This award is for for candidates who are working with adults. Candidates complete 3 mandatory units plus additional from adults group and then have a choice of four option units. These are drawn from the adults group and can include selection(s) from a generic option group.

Also available are additional units at all levels, which, whilst they do not form part of the qualification structure, offer opportunities for continuing professional development.

Mandatory Units - Candidates must complete all three

  • Use and develop methods and systems to communicate, record and report
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of healthy and safe practices in the working environment
  • Take responsibility for the continuing professional development of self and others

In addition, candidates complete the following unit

Adults

  • Develop practice that promotes choice, well being and protection of all individuals.

In addition, candidates select four units from a total choice of 46. These are drawn from the adults groups and can include selection(s) from a generic option group.

A certificate from the awarding body will be presented to candidates on completion of their award.

Support to achieve this qualification includes registration, assessment and certification costs.

Our assessor team will endeavour to support learners every 3 weeks.
Whenever you are learning, the team at NVQ Training & Consultancy are available by telephone, with online support service for learners throughout the programme.

Progress updates are provided for managers after every assessment.
