Level 4 NVQ in Management
Who is this NVQ for?
Managers and team leaders in a wide variety of areas. All successful managers need good leadership skills. Whether you're a team leader or a developing line manager, NVQ Training & Consultancy Services provides Level 4 NVQ in Management for you to improve the way you organise, lead and communicate at work.
There are five mandatory units which the candidate must complete and three optional units
Mandatory Units
- Develop and implement operational plans for your area of responsibility
- Encourage innovation in your area of responsibility
- Develop productive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
- Ensure health and safety requirements are met in your area of responsibility
- Manage business processes
Optional Units
Three of the following:
- Manage your own resources and professional development
- Develop your personal networks
- Provide leadership in your area of responsibility
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, ethical and social requirements
- Promote equality of opportunity and diversity in your area of responsibility
- Lead change
- Plan change
- Implement change
- Recruit, select and keep colleagues
- Allocate and monitor the progress and quality of work in your area of responsibility
- Provide learning opportunities for colleagues
- Manage finance for your area of responsibility
- Manage a programme of complementary projects
- Work with others to improve customer service
- Build your organisation's understanding of its market and customers
- Manage the achievement of customer satisfaction
A certificate from the awarding body will be presented to candidates on completion of their award.
Support to achieve this qualification includes registration, assessment and certification.

Carefully planned support sessions with learners ensure the best use of everybody's time. When undertaking an NVQ qualification, we will ensure you receive support sessions in order to build your portfolio of evidence.
Our assessor team will endeavour to support learners every 3 weeks.
Whenever you are learning, the team at NVQ Training & Consultancy are available by telephone, with online support service for learners throughout the programme.
Progress updates are provided for managers after every assessment.
Once on programme, it is paramount to our Quality & Customer Service Charter that we review the learning being undertaken to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction and progression towards the achievement of awards.
